First of all, i want to tell you that cooking is ART! When you're going to cafe, you can choose a lot of nice desserts, or when you visit a gallery with epic sweets, pies, and everything else! DeviantART has a lot of "food masters" and i want to show some to you:

Ten Portrait Photography TipsPeople & Portrait Photography
Check your Angles
Avoid unflattering angles, don't frame your model with their arms or legs chopped off unless it works for the image. If in doubt, fully frame them and do the chopping afterwards in post-processing! Don't forget to check that the tops of their heads and their feet are in focus. Missing feet are disconcerting!
Be the Director
As the Photographer, most people will be looking to you for direction. There's no time to be shy when you're behind the camera! Keep calm to help your model remain relaxed but make sure they're not made to feel awkward if you lack giving instruction. Pose them well, avoid direct bright sunlight and check out your background.
Eye contact...or not
Eye contact isn't always necessary, in fact candid journalistic style photographs often work best. Your subject doesn't have to be looking directly at the camera for it to be a successful shoot, but yo
Lighting in Portrait PhotographyPeople and Portraits week
I'm writing this tutorial of sorts, for all of you portrait photographers out there seeking advice about the lighting in your photographs. First off let me be clear in saying that I am no expert, or rather I do not claim to be, I sometimes do things in unusual ways, and my tips and advice are definitely not the only ones you should follow. This journal is just me giving you my take on how to get great lighting for your shots
1. Never shoot when the sun is at its highest peak.
Depending on where you live and your climate, this might vary, but I usually never shoot between the hours of 12-4 unless I'm shooting indoors, or it's a cloudy day. If you're doing an outdoors shoot and the sun is blasting on your model, you are very unlikely to get good results. Not only will it be uncomfortable for your model, and make it difficult to pose with a natural expression (sun in your eyes, worst feeling in the world),
Feature Friday: Haikyuu!!
Haikyuu!! (ハイキュー!!), a manga and anime series that focuses around volleyball player Shoyo Hinata as he strives to become the best he can, has gained popularity both in and out of Japan since its manga debut in 2012, and more recently due to the anime adaptation that began airing in April 2014.
Deviants around the globe have taken to Hinata and his team, and have made a variety of incredible creations in homage to the series. Check out these deviations!

How to tell a story through portraiturePeople & Portrait Photography
I'm sure many people will agree with me that the People & Portrait Galleries here on deviantART are often dominated by Expressive, Emotive and (depending on taste!) beautiful portraiture captures. Photographs capture a moment and can tell a story, but often these kind of shots are predominantly to showcase clothing, makeup, features or bodies. There is another level to Portraiture and knowing how to tell a story through your camera lens is one of the key elements of documenting a person
"It's not just about an image, it's about the person in that image, who they are, where they've been - what they're doing."
Here in the UK, particuarly in the Summer months, there's almost a daily opportunity to go out and capture a story. I recently wandered around an Art Exhibition and managed to snap a fair few artists at work. To tell someone's story without relying on emotion within their facial features and body language,
